A 42-acre mixed-use, mixed-income community, Olmsted Green will offer 287 homes for sale within reach of members of the workforce, 153 units of affordable housing, and 80 units of supportive housing for seniors. The Olmsted Green campus will also house a job training center, a 123-bed skilled nursing facility, a health and fitness facility, and accommodations for individuals with mental illness. The Olmsted Green vision joins environmental awareness, social responsibility, a link to a rich past, and boundless possibilities for the future.
Olmsted Green is a development of unprecedented size and scope and will infuse $180 million into the community while creating 400 permanent jobs for residents and 400 construction jobs.The Olmsted Green development team comprised of Lena Park CDC and New Boston Fund (jointly, "Lena New Boston") brings together two highly complementary forces working in harmony-a rich source of invaluable community understanding with a well-financed, experienced developer.
